SOCIAL JUSTICE & EQUITY (Task 10)

Students will form groups will choose a geographic area that has Hydraulic Fracturing being performed, and conduct research comparing Hydraulic Fracturing, with the socioeconomic demographics for their area of study. Students will present their findings to the class prior to the end of the unit. The student groups will compare and contrast the information they find, and draw conclusions based upon their information. The students will be required to answer questions from the class to defend their conclusions. This information will be incorporated into the final art project due at the end of the unit.

-Groups will be selected by Mr. Wrench and Mr. Maas at the beginning of the unit.
-Students will receive grades as a group, as opposed to individual grades.
